A promise likes a single stone. This one is a small round of spinach-green nephrite, green all the way through. Zircon circles it with a little light. The silver stays plain, and means it. Made for the question, and for all the years after it.

  • Jade: spinach green nephrite, natural and untreated, from Russia
  • Material: sterling silver 925, set with zircon
  • Dimensions: 6 × 6 mm stone, 1.5 g, adjustable US 6¾–9¼ (HK 15–20)
Sourcing

Every piece of Zeneuf jade can be traced. Each one is logged under a reference number, tied to a record of where it came from: the artisan who carved it, the variety of jade, how it was treated, and where it was mined. Nothing leaves us sold as simply "jade," and nothing is described on a guess. If you ever want to know more about the piece in your hands, send us your order number and we'll answer from its record.

Care

Jade is one of the toughest stones in common wear, made to be worn every day and kept for years. It asks for very little: take it off before the shower, swimming, sport, or cleaning, and put on perfume and lotion before your jewelry, not after. To clean it, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth and dry it. Skip ultrasonic cleaners and jewelry dips. Keep it in its pouch, apart from other pieces, so harder stones can't scratch it.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping. Most orders ship within 24 hours. Pieces that take more handwork may need 2–3 days before they leave us. Shipping is free on orders of $89 and over, and delivery takes 4–9 business days on average. Every parcel is tracked, and you'll get an email at each step, so you always know where your order is.

Returns. Changed your mind once it's in your hands? No worries, you have 90 days to decide. We've made sending it back as easy as we can: request a return from your account or simply email us, and we'll send your return instructions within one business day. Send the piece back, and your refund follows within days of it reaching us. Would you rather swap it for something else? We'll ship the new piece to you free. And if anything arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, it's on us, every cost included.

The jade

Natural spinach green nephrite jade

A single small round of spinach green nephrite jade from Russia, green all the way through, ground smooth and polished. The stone is semi-translucent at the edges, with the fine black iron specks that mark natural spinach nephrite; they are how the stone signs its name. Natural and untreated: no dye, no resin, no bleach. Zircon circles it in plain sterling silver.

Design

The smooth dome, worn for protection

A single smooth jade dome is an old protective form: its rounded shape stands for the sky over the wearer, and a stone with no edges is one that stays on through everything. It is worn for protection, the steady kind that outlasts the moment. As a ring it suits a promise, an engagement, or an answer given, and its benefit is the quiet reassurance of a stone that stays put while everything else changes. Give it with a question, or as the answer.
