This notice identifies the business behind zeneuf.com and sets out the legal terms on which the Site's content is published. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, and does not replace any of them.

Goods and Services Tax: MADAME RETAIL PTE. LTD. is not currently registered for GST in Singapore. No GST is charged on our prices, and we do not issue tax invoices showing GST.

2. Accuracy of content

We prepare the content on this Site with care, and we correct errors as soon as we find them. Even so, we cannot warrant that everything on the Site is complete, current and free of error at every moment.

Where the Site describes a specific product — species, origin, colour, dimensions, weight, metal, treatment — that description is a contractual statement and we stand behind it. If we have described a piece inaccurately, that is a fault, and our Return & Refund Policy tells you exactly what happens next.

General editorial content — journal articles, guides to jade, care advice, explanations of grading and cultural symbolism — is published for information. It is written honestly and researched, but it is not professional gemmological, medical, financial or legal advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for an independent opinion on a specific question. In particular, nothing on this Site is a valuation, an appraisal, or a statement that any piece will hold or increase in monetary value, and nothing on this Site makes any health, medical or therapeutic claim.

3. Photography and natural variation

Jade is a natural material. Every stone differs in colour, translucency, veining and inclusion, and no photograph reproduces a stone exactly — screen calibration, ambient light and display technology all shift what you see.

Our product photography shows the actual piece or a representative piece from the same batch, and is not retouched to alter the colour, clarity or apparent quality of a stone. Variation between the photograph and the piece you receive, within the natural range of the material, is a property of jade rather than a defect. If a piece is not what you hoped for when you open the box, that is exactly what the 90-day return window is for.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this Site that belongs to us — the Zeneuf name and logo, our product photography, text, product descriptions, journal articles, graphic design, page layout and the arrangement of the Site — is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property law, and is owned by MADAME RETAIL PTE. LTD. or used under licence.

You may view the Site, and copy or print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not, without our prior written permission: copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or licence our content; use our photography or copy in your own listings, marketing or catalogues; frame or mirror the Site; systematically scrape, harvest or bulk-download the Site or its images, including for the purpose of training commercial machine-learning models.

Reselling pieces you have bought from us is permitted — see section 12 of our Terms of Service — but that permission extends to the physical goods only, never to our brand assets or content.

Third-party names, logos and trade marks appearing on the Site remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

5. Reporting infringement

If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, trade mark or other right, write to hello@zeneuf.com with "INFRINGEMENT" in the subject line and tell us:

1. what you own, and how you own it;
2. exactly where the material appears on our Site (the full URL);
3. why you believe it infringes;
4. your name, address and contact details;
5. a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, and that the information you have given is accurate.

We acknowledge every notice within 1 business day and investigate promptly. Where a complaint is well-founded we remove or correct the material without waiting to be compelled. If we believe a complaint is mistaken we will explain why rather than simply ignore it.

If you believe your own product has been copied, or that someone is selling counterfeit goods using our brand, we want to hear about that too — same address.

6. Links to other sites

The Site contains links to third-party websites that we do not operate or control. We check a link before we publish it, but sites change. We accept no responsibility for the content, accuracy, products, services or privacy practices of any linked site, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave zeneuf.com, that site's own terms and privacy policy apply to you.

If you find a link from our Site that leads somewhere unlawful or harmful, please tell us at hello@zeneuf.com and we will remove it.

7. Availability of the Site

We aim to keep the Site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict any part of the Site for maintenance, security or business reasons.

8. Limits on liability

Our liability to you in connection with anything you buy is set out in section 16 of our Terms of Service, which also records the things we never limit — death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, and any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer guarantees.

So far as concerns this Site rather than our products: to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general editorial content, from a link to a third-party site, or from the Site being unavailable. Nothing in this notice restricts your rights as a consumer.

9. Where we sell

We sell and ship only to Singapore and the United States. The Site is directed at customers in those two countries. We make no representation that our products or content are appropriate or available elsewhere, and we do not currently offer sales to the European Union or the United Kingdom.

10. Governing law

This notice, and any dispute about the Site or its content, is governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction — subject to the two qualifications in favour of consumers set out in section 20 of our Terms of Service, which preserve the mandatory consumer protections of the state or country where you live, and your right to bring a small claim locally.
