Terms of service
Last updated: 10 August 2026
1. Who we are, and what this agreement is
zeneuf.com and the Zeneuf brand are operated by MADAME RETAIL PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in the Republic of Singapore under the Companies Act 1967, Company Registration No. (UEN) 202609564K, with its registered office at 160 Robinson Road, #14-04 Singapore Business Federation Center, Singapore 068914.
In these Terms, "Zeneuf", "we", "us" and "our" mean MADAME RETAIL PTE. LTD. "You" means the person browsing or buying from zeneuf.com. "Site" means zeneuf.com and every page, feature and service on it.
These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and us. By browsing the Site, creating an account, or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
Two other documents form part of this agreement, and you should read them too:
- our Return & Refund Policy
- our Shipping Policy
- our Privacy Policy
Where a specific policy conflicts with these Terms on a point it covers, that policy governs.
2. Who can buy from us
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you are between 13 and 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who takes responsibility for the order.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We currently sell and ship only to Singapore and the United States. You are responsible for making sure it is lawful for you to buy our products where you live.
3. Your account
You can order as a guest, or create an account at account.zeneuf.com.
If you create an account, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information in it and for anything done through it. We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email address, so please keep access to that inbox secure and tell us at hello@zeneuf.com if you believe someone else has used your account.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms. If we do, we will tell you why and we will still honour any order you have already paid for, unless the order itself is the problem.
4. Our products — what we promise, and what we don't
Jade is a natural stone. Colour, translucency, pattern, veining and natural inclusions vary from piece to piece, and no two are identical. Photography and your own screen will also shift colour slightly. Variation of this kind is a property of the material, not a defect, and is not on its own a ground for a faulty-goods claim — though it is of course a perfectly good reason to return something under our 90-day Return & Refund Policy.
What we do state, and stand behind. For each piece we publish the species (jadeite or nephrite), the origin, the colour, the dimensions in millimetres, the weight in grams, the metal, and any treatment the stone has received. Where we describe a stone as Type A, we mean natural jadeite that has not been bleached, dyed, polymer-impregnated or otherwise treated beyond traditional waxing. An independent laboratory report is available on request for any piece in the shop.
If we have described a piece inaccurately, that is a fault and we will make it right — refund, replacement or repair, your choice, and we pay the shipping both ways.
What we do not claim. We make no representation that any piece will hold, gain or realise any monetary value, and nothing on the Site is investment advice or a valuation. We make no health, medical, therapeutic, spiritual or protective claims about jade. Where we describe traditional or cultural meanings — a Pixiu, a Bi disc, a zodiac animal — we are describing cultural history, not asserting an effect on your life, health or fortune.
Availability, sizing and care. Products are subject to availability and we may change or discontinue any piece at any time. Ring and bangle sizing is your responsibility; please use our size guides and ask us if you are unsure. Jade is durable but not indestructible — follow our care guidance and keep pieces away from impact, chemicals, perfume and chlorine.
5. Prices and currency
Prices are shown in US Dollars (USD) for the United States and Singapore Dollars (SGD) for Singapore, and are inclusive of applicable taxes as described in our Shipping Policy. Shipping is added at checkout unless a free-shipping threshold applies.
We can change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted.
Errors. Despite our care, a price or product description on the Site may occasionally be wrong. If we discover an error in the price or description of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not simply charge you the higher amount, and we will not dispatch on the strength of an obvious error.
Reference prices. Where we show a struck-through "compare at" price, it is a price at which the item has genuinely been offered.
6. Orders — how a contract is formed
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded contract.
The order confirmation email we send you acknowledges that we have received your order. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch the item and send you the dispatch email — and only for the items in that dispatch.
We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or part, before dispatch. We do this rarely, and only where there is a good reason: the item is out of stock, we cannot verify your payment or delivery address, we suspect fraud, there was a pricing or description error, or we cannot lawfully ship to you. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full, promptly, to your original payment method, and we tell you why.
We may also limit quantities per customer, per household or per order.
7. Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place the order; if we then decline or cancel it, we refund you in full.
By submitting payment details you confirm you are authorised to use that payment method. Payments are processed by our payment providers — we do not store your full card number. If your payment is reversed, charged back or fails after dispatch, we may suspend your account and recover the amount due.
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us at hello@zeneuf.com before raising a chargeback. We would much rather fix it directly and quickly.
8. Shipping, returns and cancellation
Delivery destinations, costs, timings and our DDP duty arrangement are set out in the Shipping Policy.
Your right to return, the 90-day window, who pays return shipping, refund timing, and how faulty, damaged, incorrect or undelivered orders are handled are set out in the Return & Refund Policy.
Both are part of this agreement, and neither limits your statutory rights.
9. Promotions, discount codes and gift cards
Discount codes and promotions are subject to any terms published with them. Unless we say otherwise, a code is for one use per customer, cannot be combined with other offers, has no cash value, and can be withdrawn or amended at any time before you use it.
Gift cards are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash except where the law requires it, and are not reloadable. Please treat a gift card code like cash — we cannot replace it if it is lost or shared.
We may cancel an order and void a code where it has been obtained or used abusively, for example through bulk generation, resale of codes, or repeated returns designed to extract discounts.
10. Reviews and anything else you post
If you post a review, photograph, comment or any other content on the Site, you confirm that it is your own, that it is honest, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, adapt and display that content in connection with Zeneuf, including in marketing, unless you tell us in writing to stop, in which case we will stop using it going forward.
We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, off-topic or promotional. We do not pay for reviews, and we do not delete a review simply because it is unfavourable.
11. Our intellectual property
The Site and everything on it that is ours — the Zeneuf name and logo, text, photography, layout, graphics, product descriptions and design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
You may browse the Site, and copy or print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell, or use our content or images for a competing or commercial purpose without our written permission. Automated scraping, bulk downloading and use of our content to train commercial models are not permitted.
12. How you may not use the Site
Please do not:
- use the Site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems or another person's account;
- introduce malware, or interfere with the Site's operation or security;
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools to access the Site or make purchases;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- harass or abuse our staff. We will always be civil to you, and we ask the same.
Buying to resell is permitted. You are free to resell pieces you have bought from us. Two conditions apply. First, you may not use the Zeneuf name, logo, product photography or copy in your own listings or marketing without our written permission — that is our intellectual property and section 11 still applies. Second, you may not describe yourself as an authorised dealer, distributor, stockist or partner of Zeneuf unless we have agreed that in writing.
Please also note that our Return & Refund Policy and any goodwill warranty we offer run to you as our customer, not to the people you sell to. If you resell, you are the seller in that transaction and you carry the obligations that come with it. If you would like to buy at volume on proper wholesale terms, email hello@zeneuf.com and we will talk.
13. Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party sites and services we do not control. We provide those links for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, their products, or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
14. Availability of the Site
We work to keep the Site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure at all times. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site for maintenance or business reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice when we can.
15. Disclaimers
Other than as expressly set out in these Terms and in our other policies, and to the extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties in respect of the Site itself.
This clause does not affect the products you buy. The goods we sell come with the statutory guarantees given by the law where you live — in Singapore under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 and the Sale of Goods Act 1979, and in the United States under applicable federal and state consumer law and implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or waives those rights.
16. Our liability to you
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the statutory consumer guarantees described above.
Subject to that:
- We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this agreement or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable.
- Our total liability to you in connection with an order will not exceed the amount you actually paid for that order.
- We are not liable for business losses. If you buy from us for a commercial purpose — including for resale — we have no liability to you for lost profits, lost business, business interruption, loss of goodwill or lost opportunity, and the cap above still applies. Our liability to a consumer buying for personal use is unaffected by this bullet.
- We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control — including carrier failure, customs action, extreme weather, natural disaster, epidemic, strike, war, civil unrest, cyber-attack, or failure of public networks or utilities. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as we can, and if the delay is substantial you may cancel and receive a full refund.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or content you post in breach of section 10. This does not apply to anything caused by our own breach or negligence.
18. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. Please read it.
By placing an order you agree that we may send you transactional messages — order confirmations, dispatch notices, return updates. Marketing emails are separate: you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time from any of them.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, our products or the law. The current version is always on this page, with its "Last updated" date at the top.
The Terms that apply to your order are the ones in force when you placed it. A change never applies retroactively to an order we have already accepted. If we make a significant change, we will give notice on the Site and, where we hold your address and the change materially affects you, by email.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of anything you buy from us, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Two important qualifications, in your favour:
- If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer in the United States of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their state, or of the right to bring proceedings where the law of their state allows it. Nothing here waives any right you have to bring a claim in a small claims court.
- Please talk to us first. Almost every dispute we have seen was a misunderstanding that took one email to fix. Write to hello@zeneuf.com with the details and we will respond within one business day and work with you in good faith to resolve it before either of us involves lawyers or a court.
21. General
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in force, and that provision applies to the maximum extent the law allows.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we do not lose it.
Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours — for example if our business is sold — provided your rights are not adversely affected.
No third-party rights. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about your use of the Site and your purchases, and replace any earlier understanding. Nothing in this clause limits your rights in respect of anything we have told you fraudulently.
Language. These Terms are written in English, and the English version governs.
22. Contact us
We answer every message within one business day, usually sooner.
