Old Chinese coins were strung and carried, and what followed was called good fortune. Here the coin is minted small, in green Burmese jadeite with a flash of zircon. The band is a thin line of gold that ends open, easy to size by hand. It goes on in the morning and weighs almost nothing. Small change, adding up.
